Brand and Marketing Manager

Who We Are

The Missing Piece is a homegrown Singapore women's fashion label. We make clothes for women who are paying attention: to how something fits, what it is made from, and whether it will still feel right a few years from now.

Our pieces draw from Asian heritage. Modern cheongsams, Peranakan-influenced prints, botanical silhouettes, made from materials we feel good about including TENCEL, linen, cotton and silk. Our collections have names like Treasure Island and Yohaku Edit. They are meant to feel like something, not just look like something.

We are founder-led with a clear point of view. Our customers are not chasing trends. They are building wardrobes with intention, and they come back to us because we earn that. We have two boutiques in Singapore, a loyal VIP community, and an e-commerce store that ships worldwide.

The Role

We are looking for someone to take on the brand and marketing side of TMP and genuinely own it. That means working closely with our Founder, setting direction, and following through on execution yourself. There is no large team behind you. What there is, is a brand worth building, a customer worth knowing, and a Founder who will give you real input and real trust.

You will be the person deciding how The Missing Piece shows up in the world. The content strategy, the launch campaigns, the customer communications. When a new collection drops, it is your job to make sure people feel the excitement before it arrives. When customers go quiet, it is your job to bring them back. When something is not landing the way it should, you will notice and you will fix it.

This is a hands-on role. If you are more comfortable directing than doing, it is probably not the right fit.

What You Will Do

Brand and Social Strategy

You will own TMP's social strategy across all channels. We work with a social media creative partner who handles shoots and polished top posts, but you set the direction and brief them clearly. You will also create content yourself: the behind-the-scenes, the launch build-up, the stories and moments that keep the brand alive between drops. TMP should look and sound like TMP everywhere it shows up, and that consistency sits with you.

Campaign and Launch Marketing

Every collection drop is an event. Each one needs to feel like something people have been waiting for, not just a new product going live. You will plan launches from the inside out: the teaser, the narrative, the timing, the content sequence. You will work with our founder on the creative direction and turn that into a plan the whole team can move on.

CRM and Customer Retention

Our existing customers are the most important people in our business. You will own the strategy for keeping them close: email campaigns, reactivation of customers who have gone quiet, and making sure our VIP concierge team has the right data to reach out at the right moments. This is not a newsletter job. It is about understanding who is drifting and knowing exactly when and how to bring them back.

Brand Partnerships and Community

If you spot a collaboration, a boutique relationship, or a community moment that fits where TMP is heading, we want to hear about it. There is a brand story here rooted in Asian-inspired craft, sustainable materials, and a genuine design heritage. The right partners exist. Finding them is part of the role.

Who You Are

You have 4 to 6 years in marketing, with a background in fashion, beauty, or a lifestyle brand where aesthetics actually mattered. You do not need to come from a large company. Someone who has figured things out with limited resources and managed campaigns from brief to execution will feel at home here.

You understand that desire is built slowly and lost quickly. You know the difference between marketing that moves product and marketing that builds a brand, and you care about both.

You have a genuine eye. You can look at a mood board, a caption, or a shoot direction and know whether it is right or not. You take craft seriously and it shows in your work.

You are comfortable working directly with a founder. That means honest feedback in both directions, real influence over how the brand grows, and the expectation that you can move with conviction once a direction is set.

You can write. Not in a polished, corporate way. In a way that sounds like a person, and sounds like this brand.

-       Someone who has never worked closely with a product that has a clear aesthetic

Practical Details

-       Location: Singapore, on-site

-       Reporting to: Founder

To Apply

Send us a short note about yourself and why TMP feels like the right fit. Attach your resume and, if you have it, examples of campaigns, content, or brand work you have been part of. We care less about where you have been and more about how you think.

All applications can be submitted to operations@iwantthemissingpiece.com.

We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
